About Me

I'm Lisa, the face behind Handmade By Pocket. The name 'Pocket' was given to me as, being on the small side, I was known as 'put her in your pocket!'

My love of crafting started at a very early age when my nan taught me to knit. I then started to make all manner of doll's clothes (which I still have in a box!).

Wind forward numerous years and I learnt to crochet, a long held dream of mine, and the baby blankets were created!

The cards I make are all designed by me, and most are hand drawn and hand cut. Most of my cards can be personalised, at no extra cost, which is why a lot of them are left blank.
